Each figure is the minimum score for that level; a result between two rows counts as the lower one. The table stops at CLB 8 because every band at CLB 8 or above earns the same 25 points — a higher score will not raise your total. Take the General Training test, not Academic — Academic results are not accepted.

Two MPNP scores, often confused
Manitoba runs two separate scoring instruments, and mixing them up is the most common mistake applicants make.
- EOI ranking score — out of 1000
- What this page calculates. It ranks you against everyone else in the pool. Each draw publishes a minimum score, and candidates at or above it receive a Letter of Advice to Apply.
- Self-assessment score — out of 100
- A separate worksheet that decides whether you are eligible to apply at all. You need at least 60 points, plus a connection to Manitoba. A high EOI ranking score does not substitute for it.
